In preparation for Christmas, anticipated decorators stream lights from their roofs and hang mistletoe from the ceiling. Although these ornaments may satisfy the average celebrator, senior Tyler Duerr expects more out of his holiday season.
Every year, the Craig Duerr family displays a miniature city containing thousands of pieces in their Fresno home. This display represents an “old-fashioned” New York City. Pieces include vintage Coca-Cola soda fountains and the Rockefeller Center ice-skating rink.
Amongst the many homes, storefronts, and parks, an 18-inch clock tower in Times Square stands out above all the rest. It’s height and radiant lights offer a realistic overview of the city.
