Junior defender Andrew Evans, center, also known as Tall Freshman, played every minute of all the Garces games and was a key role on the defense, aiding the defensive unit in stopping the Coast Union attack.

The Eagles played with confidence in Bakersfield, but lost to the Bronco’s 1-2, to start out the tournament, Dec. 18. FC scored their first goal late in the first half, when Josh Hopper, ’12, crossed it to Josiah Ford, ’11, who played it up to Austin Rurik, who beat the keeper with a shot into the corner, all not pictured.
