In preparation for filming the junior NOTS movie, Twilight, junior Cassidy Hutchins attends school wearing brown contacts in order to resemble her role of Bella Swan, Jan. 27. However, making this adjustment was not an easy task.

“When I first got the contacts, it took me an hour and a half to put them in,” Hutchins said. “I didn’t want to frustrate myself and be rushed to put them in after school, so I tried before I left home. If they didn’t work, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. However, putting them in beforehand is more convenient.”

Throughout the day, Hutchins received various comments regarding how different she looks with brown eyes opposed to her natural blue.

“I have heard people say that I look dead, like a different person, or a vampire,” Hutchins said. “A few people have actually screamed. On the other hand, several people didn’t even notice.”
