Sandwiched between introducing sports teams and chilly games, the cheer team found a way to make their mark on the “black ice” rally, Jan. 29.
Junior Justin Wilson used the squad’s cheering expertise to ask his girlfriend, Ashley Ward, ’11, to Night of the Stars. After performing a cheer complete with stunts and signs, the team opened for Wilson, who broke the question with flowers.
