During Molly Sargent’s AP English class, students read through the final acts of Shakespeare’s famous play, Hamlet, Feb. 16. To further understand the material, Sargent assigned character roles to the class to act out the tragic scene where main characters such as Queen Gertrude, King Claudius, Hamlet and Laertes all violently expire.
The only two members left standing were Horatio, played by juniors Nigel Alcorn, left, and the ambassador, played by Cassidy Hutchins, after reading the final lines of the play.
