Girls often spend hours preparing for formal opposed to the few minutes a boy might take putting on his tuxedo. Senior Chelsea Wathen, left, admits to taking a total of six hours to prepare her hair, dress and make-up for formal events like Night of the Stars, Feb. 20.

“It takes me about a total of five to six hours to get ready for formal events,” Wathen said. “I take a 40-minute bubble bath first. My hair takes the most time and I use six to seven different products as well as two different sizes of curling irons.”
