Although emcee Tyler Revis, ’10, mispronounced his name, the glitch did not prevent Firebaugh performer Jacob Phelen from drumming to third place in the West Sequoia League (WSL) talent show.

Phelen performed a quad drum solo at the Feb. 25 event, which featured students from seven different schools. He placed third after an acoustic guitar duet from Dos Palos and the Mendota drum line.
