Although a delayed flight prevented The Feather staff from exploring Ellis Island on their trip to New York, staff photographer Madison Dooley, ’11, still found an opportunity to embrace New York culture.
Dooley posed with a down-sized, living version of the iconic State of Liberty in Battery Park, March 15.
She fulfilled her duties by taking photos throughout the day, but posed for one of her own to preserve the memory.
After the group of 30 explored the sea front, they were led through the financial district and Empire State Building by adviser Greg Stobbe.
