In order to capture the true essence of the moment, this photo essay has been written as a first-person account.

With only a few school days left to find a date for Sadies, I took the initiative of securing my opportunity to ask Tyler Duerr, March 26. The post-it notes that read “Sadies?” covered the exterior of his car, and toilet paper wrapped around the the middle.

The typical girl might walk up to her date holding a sign or his favorite cookies, however I decided to do something a little more creative. Hopefully he will not be too upset with the extensive clean-up required…
