The first day of the journalism trip to Portland, OR, consisted of walking downtown, finding good restaurants, making occasional visits to local shops and walking through the park, April 14. However, after several hours of walking, senior editor Austin Ward, middle, decides to sit down and relax to rest his feet.

Publications adviser Greg Stobbe, left, saw this as the perfect opportunity to sneak up and scare Ward with the benefit of taking a humorous picture. Needless to say, Ward never saw it coming.
