Every year, freshman English classes are expected to read Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” Unlike the many schools that organize dramas to portray this love story, the honors English students are assigned particular roles, and read their parts aloud in class.
English teacher Greg Stobbe has recently assigned his students, such as Kevin Thao, middle left, and Kathryn Bennett, middle right, the lead roles for the balcony scene in Act II, May 13.
