Drawing on his Dutch heritage, junior Tim DeGroot decided to wear traditional wooden clogs (“klompen”) to school for his finals.
“I wore them because I love Dutch people and I wanted them to bring me luck,” he said.
Whether because of happenstance or effort, DeGroot said that he did well on his exams this year.
