For the first time in campus history, channel ABC 30 visited FC to promote the newly donated football field, Sept. 17. Morning reporter Christine Park organized interviews with varsity football coach Bonner Cunnings, senior varsity football captain Andrew Evans, senior cheer captain Kory Thompson, ’10 alumnus Tyler Revis and youth football coach Vic Breedlove.

In addition to interviews, the cheer squad led the crowd in three different cheers, and the jazz band showcased pep-songs with a drum solo by senior Sydney Carlson.

Students were expected to be at school by 5:30 a.m. dressed in school spirit attire. To thank those who attended, teachers granted homework passes and a pancake breakfast to students.
