Dear editor,
I believe we are rushed into making important decisions when we register for next years’ classes.
Planning ahead with early class registrations is a good idea; it allows the teachers a longer period of time to examine schedules and classes best suited for each individual.
However, the current process does not take into consideration the time we need to choose classes for next year. We are only given a short time to choose and not enough time to consider our options.
In the April 20 article, “”Innovative classes excite students,”” Alec Kneefel describes the benefits of early registration. It is good to have registrations early, but it almost feels like we are expected to have our schedules planned months in advance.
I feel that the administration should give us more time to think about which classes we want to take the following year.
