Guest speaker Clarence Lee performs a demonstration to the students during chapel to give them a visual of how to overcome the struggles in life, Oct. 7.
Students, in order from front to back, Ileana See, ’14, Christopher Grossman, ’15, and Stephan Melendez, ’13, stand on his back as Lee does one push-up. Each person represented a certain struggle in his life, which he overcame or “lifted” off.
Lee graduated with three degrees in Mathematics and is the strongest athlete to ever play at Florida State University, bench pressing 540 pounds. He also played nose guard on the 1993 National Championship Team.
He travels the country, speaking for a group called Champions and Solid Rock International. They are a non-profit corporations formed to make a difference in the lives of children, youth and adults, by building lives on the firm foundation of principles that instill character-building and healthy, sound decision-making.
