As a change of plans for a typical day during lunch period at FC, sophomore Maddie Yee, left, watches an unexpected performance by junior David Casuga, as he sings a song he wrote for her called “Complete My Heart,” Oct. 8.
Casuga wrote this song in hopes of winning the competition against junior Trevor York, not pictured, to, as Casuga would say, “win her [Yee’s] heart.” In the song, he describes his feelings for her in words such as: “You’re the butter to my biscuit, you’re the strings to my guitar.”
