During the gubernatorial debate held at Fresno State, professional photographers and cameramen set up all their equipment in order to capture the most important moments of the debate, Oct. 1.
Thirty-five minutes before the debate began, all still photographers were to report to the student union to prepare for a photo op. The photographers had exactly three minutes to get in, take pictures of the candidates and leave, without causing any disturbances.
After candidates Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman went off the air, they were escorted to the press tent for pictures and public questioning.
