After candidates battled for the crown in the annual king pageant, senior Andrew Evans accepts the title of king, Oct. 22.

Evans, along with fellow seniors Alex Campama, Zach Camden, Danny Ibarra and Josiah Ford, was nominated by his classmates in September. For students to determine which candidate they would vote for, the kings performed a series of challenges, including the traditional king dance and pick-up lines.

When the pageant was over, ’09 homecoming king Landon Martens crowned Evans as this year’s king. Evans has been known as Tall Freshman since his JV soccer days, over three years ago.
