Dear editor,
I like the way Mona Yazdanpanah (’05) expressed lots of different opinions concerning SAT10 testing in her April 20 article, “SAT10 tests intellectual prowess.”
Every student has their own opinion about the testing. Some view it as a survey of how well the school does in teaching while others find it a waste of time.
I agree with Alysa Munzy, ’05, who said that the testing prepares students for college. I like the way we get the opportunity to see at our SAT10 scores so we can see where we stand on various subjects.
A downfall of SAT10 testing week is that the days feel like they pass by slower, making the week feel longer. The SAT10 testing really only profits our school; if we do poorly or superior the school receives the credit.
