After the Eagles played the homecoming game against Fowler, all teammates, fans and parents gathered on the field in prayer, Oct. 22. Although coach Bonner Cunnings and most of the coaching staff, except Robert Foshee and Rayne Simens, resigned from their role as coaches, the Eagles were able to fight their way through the game despite their loss, 35-0.
