It’s officially Homecoming week at Fresno Christian High School (Oct. 7-11) and this year’s theme is “Family Game Night.” Congratulations to the court candidates for this year’s 39th annual event. The Feather would like to introduce you to the nominees voted in by their peers. Caleb Iest, Ian Palsgaard, Braxton Bay, Aden Millwee, Theron Myers are this years Senior King candidates.

Caleb Iest

Iest has attended FCS since seventh grade. If west was given the choice to choose between singing or dancing in front of people, he would choose to sing and has previously at the annual Fresno christian valentines day concert. When asked for the most important quality in a mate is A relationship with Jesus. If Iest could eat at only one fast food restaurant for life, he would eat at chik-fil-a.

1- If you could sing a duet with anyone, who would it be?

His girlfriend Chloe Johnson.

2- If you could have any superpower, what would it be? 

Flight.

3- #1 on your adventure bucket list?

Learn how to surf.

Ian Palsgaard

Palsgaard been a student at FCS since fifth grade. If he were to have a million dollars he would put it all on black and double his money. He hopes to have three children someday, one girl and two boys. Palsgaard was asked if he could have dinner with one person alive who he would eat with himself so he could have two meals. His favorite verse is Romans 7: 9-10 “ I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.” 

1- If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

A bottomless stomach so I could never stop trying  new foods.

2- If you could have one wish granted to you, what would it be?

For The Feather advisor Kori James to make me editor.

3- If you could sing a duet with anyone, who would it be? 

Susan Ansley because even she could make my voice sound good.

Braxton Bay

Bay has gone to FCS since 5th grade, the number one adventure on his bucket list is to visit Alaska. If Bay had to eat at one fast food restaurant for the rest of his life he would eat canes. His favorite bible verse is Matthew 7:1-5 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” 

1- If you could have one wish granted to you, what would it be?

Double my net worth everyday.

2- Hollywood Crush

Betty White.

3- If you could have dinner with any person alive in the world today, who would it be? Why? 

Mr. Butler, why not?

Aden Millwee

Millwee has gone to FCS since sophomore year, three words that describe him are hard working, Godly, athletic. If he could have dinner with one person alive he said,” Steph Curry because he’s my favorite basketball player.” One thing he wishes he could do over was the ending to the basketball season last year. His favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through christ who strengthens me.”

1- #1 on your adventure bucket list? 

Arctic cruise and the northern lights.

2- If you could have one wish granted to you, what would it be? 

For my mom’s cancer to be gone completely.

Jennifer Lawrence

Theron Myers

Myers is a lifer at Fresno Christian and has been attending since preschool. Three words he would describe himself as is Sexy, kicker, goalie. If Myers was given the choice to Sing or Dance in font of people he would rather dance because he lacks the talent of singing. If he was to have a million dollars he would buy a villa in Italy. Myers believes the most important quality in a mate is having a sense humor.

1- How many children would you like to have someday? 

Two children, one boy and one girl.

2- #1 on your adventure bucket list? 

Travel the back streets in Italy with my future wife.

3- If you could have dinner with any person alive in the world today, who would it be? Why?

Profesora because she makes great Mexican food.

FCS 39th Annual Homecoming takes place Oct. 11th with gates opening at 6 p.m. Princess introductions will be at 6:30 p.m. and football kicks off at 7 p.m. Royal court will be officially announced during halftime. Come enjoy the class floats, concessions and the community of FCS.
