In honor of their daughter Molly, Doug and Doris Griffin started ‘Molly Day‘, held on her birthday each year, Aug. 26.
Molly Griffin, ’09, a former FC graduate, was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 2015. The Griffin family asks people in the community to participate in a random act of kindness in remembrance of their daughter.
The Griffin’s coined the phrase “Live like Molly” in an effort to encourage participation on this day. Molly Griffin was known by family and friends to be one of the kindest people they knew.
Griffin graduated from Fresno States Nursing program in hopes to help and encourage others.
The Griffin family hopes to carry on Molly’s legacy in a positive light. People are encouraged to use #LiveLikeMolly to share their acts of kindness not only on her birthday, but everyday.
