The class of 2020 travels to Hume Lake Christian Camps for the annual senior retreat, Sept. 24. A total of 47 out of 57 seniors attended this trip, along with four high school advisors.
The trip is designed for students to connect with fellow classmates for their final year together.
Senior advisors Kori Friesen, Robert Foshee Robert Hyatt, and Kimberly Bell divide students into six different groups as a way to connect with each other. After creating a team name and chant, each group competed in different events for points.
High ropes course, roller skating, skits, chapels, kayaking on the lake and time around a campfire help connect the seniors as they start their final year together.
FC tech director Hyatt spoke at both chapels referencing the story of Samson. He shares personal stories connecting with the students and reminding them that control is just and illusion.
Later this year, seniors will also be embarking on the senior trip and grad-night.
Thank you @Humelake for hosting the FC class of 2020.
