Congratulations to this year’s freshman homecoming princess nominees, Kirra Obwald, Tori Tarlton, and Aubrey Graham. Nominated by their class, The Feather would like to help you get to know them through a series of uniques questions.

The big homecoming vote will take place Thursday morning, Oct. 3, after the Royal Battle. The winners will be announced during halftime at the 35th annual Fresno Christian homecoming game against Riverdale Christian, Oct. 5. Gates open at 6 p.m., and princess candidates will be introduced on the field at 6:30 p.m.

Obwald has attended Fresno Christian for three years. Her favorite memory from her years at FC includes, the bus ride to the Reagen field trip in eighth grade. Obwald would like to thank Mrs. Rojeski and Mrs. Blowers for supporting her as well as stretching and pushing her throughout her years at FCS.

Tarlton has attended Fresno Christian for four years. Three words to describe her are athletic, fun and caring. Tarlton hopes to be in college in five years. Tarlton’s favorite Bible verse is Psalms 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

Graham is a lifer at Fresno Christian and has attended since kindergarten. In five years, she hopes to be attending Pepperdine University. Graham would like to thank Diane Blowers for being an awesome soccer coach and for always being there to listen and give advice.
