Fresno Christian homecoming week has officially begun. This year a board game-themed slogan is, ‘Homecoming Game On’. Throughout Sept. 30-Oct. 4, student leadership will host princess pageants while spirit points are awarded each day for participation in dress days. Those points will be added to the classes total score at the big event on Friday night, Oct. 4.
After a day filled with, students and faculty dressing up, princess pageants, and continual planning for the big night of homecoming. Today Fresno Christian was filled with students wearing one color. The theme was,’One Color Wednesday’, so students had the chance to participate in dressing up in only one color from head to toe.
Lunch consisted of ‘Family Feud’ for the princess pageant. Seniors Megan LeBlanc and Logan Lewis ask the princess candidates trivia questions about FC. The winners for this princess pageant today was the sophomore class.
Tomorrows the dress up day is, ‘Sports Day Thursday’, Oct. 3. Don’t forget to dress up to support your favorite sports team.
Another event happening on campus is the annual ‘Royal Battle’. To end the day, the bonfire rally will be held at the Poplin’s house from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. This rally will be filled with games, snacks, cheer routines, and prayer. Leadership will also be announcing the varsity football team to get them ready for the big homecoming football game.
