Last Friday night, the football game theme was ‘Pink Out’ in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Oct. 28.
To gain support from the student body, Fresno Christian High School Leadership sells pink shirts. The shirts are sold for $10. The money raised from the shirt sales directly supports Tristin Graham.
Graham is the son of a 2009 Fresno Christian alumnus. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Graham is currently receiving treatment from Valley Children’s Hospital.
A total of 60 ‘Pink Out’ shirts were sold for the game.
During the game, over 100 cheerleaders, K-12 cheer on the Fresno Christian football team. Throughout the week, varsity cheerleaders teach elementary girls dances, a cheer and stunts. The cheer clinic costed $45 for the week. The money raised through the clinic benefits the varsity cheer team’s competition fee.
