Fresno Christian girls soccer defeats Sierra High School, 4-3, in the first home game of the season, Nov. 15.
The FC six captains lead over 20 girls in the 2019-20 season. Last year, the lady Eagles finished the season as runner up in the Valley Championship.
Captain Kayden Marquez, ‘20, reflects on the first game on the season and discusses the areas the team needs to improve in.
“The first game of this season was definitely a great learning experience,” Marquez said. “We as a team got to work on communicating and working as one on the field, in addition to that we got our first win. Throughout the season we will continue working on our communication skills and growing stronger together. Not only skill wise but improving as a unit.”
The next game will be a home game against Orange Cove at 6 p.m, Nov. 19.
