The Fresno and Clovis community gather together for the annual Children’s Electric Christmas Light Parade, Dec. 7. Over 2,000 participants walk down the streets of Old Town Clovis covered in lights. Fresno Christian band performs in front of the hundreds of people watching.
The 10th annual parade show bands, trucks, equestrians, and floats lit with Christmas lights. Prizes are given out and Santa Clause makes an appearance. The Kiwanis Old Town Clovis Club continues to put together this parade. Kiwanis helps shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick.
The FC band took the opportunity to march in the parade. This is the band teacher’s, Lesley Banister sixth year participating in the parade. The band played “Let it Snow” while marching down the crowded streets.
