On Fresno Christian’s campus, students have the opportunity to grow their faith during school hours through chapel, worship, bible classes, serve projects, and in individual classrooms.
Every Tuesday and Thursday a student worship team leads the junior high and high schoolers in worship along with weekly guest speakers teaching from the Bible. Having a break in between the regular class schedule is a unique way for students to move through their week.
Another requirement at FCS is to take a bible class either in the form of old/new testament, christian living, worship team or in leadership. Freshmen and Sophomores take old or new testament with Scott Falk while reading the bible during class and look closer to uncover the meaning. Juniors and Seniors not in leadership or worship team are apart of christian living taught by Aubri Foster where they dig deeper through the bible and have mature talks about events happening in the real world.
One of the important elements of the FCS community is to give back in the form of service. Every year during the spring season, students and staff go off campus to different locations all around town to help serve and show kindness to those that need help. This year serve day will be Feb. 27.
Another faith based campus event is, See You At The Pole, which is a morning time of student prayer and worship. Students have the chance to pray and worship together on campus before school along with other schools across the nation.
