With the unusual spring of heat in February, people question, “Has spring sprung?” Temperatures have reached a high of 71 degrees in Fresno California, which is usually high for the beginning of February.

During Groundhogs Day 2020, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow resulting in an early spring prediction. This marks the 134th annual year Phil the groundhog has predicted the spring weather. First official day of spring begins on March 19.

In Fresno, the temperature has reached a daily average of 62 degrees this last week. Blossoms and flowers have began to develop on campus and students enjoy the spring like temperatures eating outside at lunch. One particular tree on campus is a little scary to walk under as the echoing buzz of bees makes you feel like you walking into a hive.
