Fresno Christian music director, Susan Ainley, presents the fifth annual Valentines Concert, ‘On A Night Like This’, Feb. 15.
The annual concert is held in the Student Ministry Center (SMC) at 6 p.m. Tickets were available for purchase for $15. The money raised from the tickets sold benefit the students planning on traveling to Nashville later this year.
The first concert consisted of a total of 15 women from the women’s ensemble. This year, over half of the performers were men.
Guests who purchased a ticket were welcomed into the concert with finding their reserved seats at round tables. Dinner was served to the concert attendants by junior high choir members. The tables were numbered and decorated with rose pedals and lit by candle light.
One of the favorite songs from the night were ‘On A Night Light Tonight’ performed by seniors Blake Deffenbacher and Kayla Vanderlinden.
