Softball season has officially started! As the girls soccer team claimed the Valley Championship and boys basketball team continues in playoffs, spring sports seasons begin, Feb. 21.
FC Softball continues practice for two weeks under head coach, David Davila and assistant coach, Steve Villines. Last year, the lady Eagles had an overall score of 16-2.
This year, the team has multiplied into 16 players who will play on varsity during the 2020 softball season.
The Lady Eagles first game is at home against Avenal @ 3:30 p.m., Feb. 25.
Previous Softball Records:
Most home runs in a game: Ashley Garcia (2014) and Juliette Davila (2017) with one home run.
Most RBIs: Jenna Weimer with 20 RBIs during the 2014 season.
Most Strikeouts: Jenna Weimer with 195 during the 2014 season.
Most stolen bases: Ashley Garcia with 14 stolen bases during the 2013 season.
Best batting average: Jenna Weimer with a .551 batting average in the 2014 season.
