The Feather Online is nominated by National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) as a Pacemaker finalist, Feb. 18.
The National Scholastic Press Association is a non-profit that provides journalism services to students, teachers, media advisers around the United States and other countries.
A Pacemaker is a scholastic journalism’s preeminent award which NSPA gives out after all entires are judged by professionals off of their criteria.
The Feather is nominated along with four other California high schools including Scot Scoop, The Boiling Point, The Paly Voice and The Foothill Dragon Press.

2018
The Feather Online was honored in San Francisco in April 2018 by the NSPA with an Online Pacemaker Finalist awardand fourth place in Best of Show.
2017
While The Feather did not earn a Pacemaker nomination in 2017, the online paper earned a NSPA First Class with Three Marks of Distinction during the annual critique.
2016
The Feather Online earned its 6th NSPA Pacemaker, April 16, 2016. This is the first time since 2013 The Feather has earned this recognition and winners were announced in Los Angeles at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention, April 14-1
