Boys varsity tennis team won their first preseason game against Woodlake high school, Feb. 19. They take the win, 8-1. The team practices Monday through Friday after school.

They continue to focus on the basics of hitting. As well as figuring out the line up for their team as they are in the beginning of their season.

Coach Robert Foshee shares what he thinks the season will look like this year.

“It’ going to be awesome,”said Foshee. “Its a new season with the seniors graduating. We are gonna see what different personalities come out. They are working really hard to do well this year and represent the Fresno Christian Eagles. It’s gonna be a fun year.”

Last year the team won Division V Valley Championship. There are three freshman on the team with 2 seniors. Captains are not yet chosen, but will be decided soon. Their next game will be against Mission Oak on Wednesday, March 4.
