As the spring season approaches blossoms began to bloom, especially throughout the Fresno County Blossom Trail 2020, March 7.

For 32 years and through seven different cities, Sanger, Reedley, Orange Cove, Selma, Clovis, Kingsburg and Fowler, all showcase flowers in brilliant color. The Fresno County Blossom Trail provides a place where visitors can admire Central California’s spring beauty.

The trail is a colorful 62- mile loop and showcases trillions of blossoms blooming on different orchids such as almond, plum, apricot, nectarine, peach, apple and citrus trees. Because of its color and variety of flowers, the place has become an attraction for many visitors from around the country to admire as well as photograph. 

Not only a place to admire, but the trial also offers a café, ‘Blossom Trail Cafe’, that serves breakfast and lunch to visitors. It is located on the cross streets of E. Belmont Ave. and N. Academy Ave.

Fun facts:

• The average nut and fruit tree ripens early fall.
• Approximately one million acres of almond trees cover the state.
• There are 200 different varieties of cherry blossoms.
