Get ready for “Lights Camera Homecoming” at Fresno Christian! The 38th Annual Homecoming offers the FC community activities including, class floats, royal court, alumni connections, concessions, and of course, football.
FC Eagles face off against the Orcutt Spartans at Friday night’s game with kick-off at 6 p.m.
Do not miss the princess introductions starting at 5:30 p.m. The royal court announcement will be during halftime.
Preparation began with class votes on popular Hollywood movies to build floats around. Classes work together to create the winning float for the big night. Voting of class floats will take place during the game, where guests can choose their favorite handcrafted display. The winning class will be announced the following Monday morning.
2023 homecoming float themes:
Freshmen: Elf
Sophomores: Batman
Juniors: Indiana Jones
Seniors: Cars
During the week of hoco, dress-up days provide points for class spirit while leadership hosts the fan-favorite princess pageants. The high school dress-up days will begin the Friday before the official start of homecoming week with ‘Anything but a backpack day.’ Students carry belongings in shopping carts, mailboxes and other creative choices.
Last year this dress-up theme was a huge hit among the student body, so leadership decided to bring it back to get students energized and excited for the following week.
