[Video] CIF Central Section Championships

Three-peat for the FC Eagles

FC Eagles win the CIF Central Section 8-man Football Championships against Sierra Chieftains, Nov. 17.

The Game kicks off at 7 pm with the high school choir singing the national anthem directed by Susan Ainsley. Blake Bay, ‘27, was honored for his win in the CIF, D5, Central section cross-country meet after the first quarter. FC cheerleaders rally the crowd with chants and songs to encourage the football team. The cheer team shows off all their best stunts during the halftime show, including a bigger stunt called the Pyramid that involves all the girls on the team.

Sierra High School has become Fresno Christian’s football rival for the past couple of years thanks to the help of social media. During the first quarter, the Eagles were down, which is unusual. By halftime, they got back into the lead and kept that lead until the end with a score of 34-26.

Securing their spot as Valley champions, FC was awarded a plaque and CIF hats. Friends and family raced onto the field to celebrate with the team.
