Fresno Christian Biology teacher, Jacob Cantu, explains the fundamentals of mitosis to his freshman class. Across the hall, Chemistry teacher, Scott Bucher, describes color change through various chemical reactions, Feb. 1.
Students part of each experiment are tasked with examining any change that may occur and recording any observations seen. Carefully, specific safety measurements are practiced while participating in each lab as students don lab coats and eyewear.
Cantu instructs his class to inspect cells under a microscope and illustrate what they view. Similarly, Bucher notifies his class that after pouring one liquid into the other they are to wright down any changes correlated with the experiment.
Chemistry groups watch in amazement as the blue liquid quickly transforms into red before their eyes. Caleb Tuck, 26′ eagerly demonstrates each step within the experiment.
Cantu prepares his class for the next biology lab, “Oreo Miosis”. Meanwhile, Bucher’s next lab is a gas experiment called “Boils law”.
