The annual senior sock exchange gave seniors a chance to gather and make memories as a class, Dec. 17. This event occurs every year thanks to the generous senior parents who organize the luncheon and decorations. The Christmas photo booth provided by the parents and school allows the students to capture their Christmas fun in photos they will reminisce on as they pack them in their senior boxes. Parents set up customized stockings with each student’s name on it that each student got to take home, a reminder of the memories they have made at the exchange.
After students selected socks, they played a “pirate version” with a rapid-fire steal round, adding a competitive twist to a traditional sock exchange. A senior brought socks with twelfth-grade English teacher Brian Butler’s face on them.
Senior Delaney Meyers reflects on the time spent as a class at the exchange.
“With the holidays being so busy, it was nice to gather with my fellow seniors for cocoa and Christmas fun!” Meyers said. “Seeing socks with Mr. Butler’s face on them wasn’t on my 2025 bucket list, but they brought lots of laughs!”
Stay tuned for the next big school event for the class of ’26, Winter Formal!
