Happy Birthday to Fresno Christian’s Learning Resource Center teacher of 18 years, Kimberly DeWolf, Aug. 14.

DeWolf is in her 28th year of teaching, previously at Clovis and Sanger Unified as a Special Day Class teacher, Resource Specialist and Reading Intervention teacher.

When DeWolf first began teaching, special education was a newly developed field. The specialization of the job sparked an interest in her which later led to her career.

DeWolf shares a few things that she appreciates about Fresno Christian.

“There are numerous things I value about teaching at FCS,” DeWolf said. “Perhaps most important is the Christian community of colleagues, friends, mentors, parents and students that have inspired me, molded me and ministered to me. It is a joy and privilege to be a part of this amazing community. Praise be to God for the opportunity to serve here.”

DeWolf is in currently in her 18th year as a teacher at Fresno Christian.

Fun Facts about DeWolf

• During college DeWolf traveled throughout Europe.
• Growing up, riding horses was a big part of her childhood because her family lived in the country.
• DeWolf and her husband have been married for 33 years.
• She has two children that graduated as lifers from FC.
