Fowler High School defeats the Fresno Christian varsity girls volleyball, 3-0, Aug. 29.
The Eagles team consists of ten players, including three seniors. With losing five seniors from last year, the team strives to fill the spots of the previous team members early in the season.
Ending the 2018 year with a 13-2 overall record and placing No.10 seed in playoffs, the team hopes to make it to the championship this season.
Junior Hannah VanNoy shares the challenges the team will have to overcome throughout the season.
“The challenges we will have to overcome this season is working together,” VanNoy said. “With having freshman-seniors on the team we all need to bond and learn to work together. Being able to help each other when someone is having an off day will be important this season.”
