Congratulations to this year’s sophomore homecoming princess nominees, Isabella Hutcheson, Karoline Sandberg, and Ashley Sciacqua. Nominated by their class, The Feather would like to help you get to know them through a series of uniques questions.
The big homecoming vote will take place Thursday morning, Oct. 3, after the Royal Battle. The winners will be announced during halftime at the 35th annual Fresno Christian homecoming game against Riverdale Christian, Oct. 5. Gates open at 6 p.m., and princess candidates will be introduced on the field at 6:30 p.m.
Introducing, Isabella Hutcheson
Hutcheson has attended Fresno Christian since the seventh grade. She would like to thank Hope Villines for being so encouraging to the cheer team and pushing her to do her best. Hutcheson’s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 26:4, “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”

Introducing, Karoline Sandberg
This is Sandberg’s first year attending Fresno Christian. She would like to thank Kimberly Bell because of how nice she is and for being Danish. Sandberg’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.”

I would live in Copenhagen, Denmark and be studying at a University

Introducing, Ashley Sciacqua
Sciacqua has attended Fresno Christian since the seventh grade. She would like to thank Diane Blowers for always being encouraging and showing her love for Jesus everywhere she goes. Sciacqua’s favorite Bible verse is Dueteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
