Congratulations to Hannah Villines, ’21, for breaking the school record for the most three pointers scored in a girls basketball season, Feb. 13.
Villines has attended Fresno Christian since first grade and has been playing basketball for as long as she can remember. She has consecutively played her basketball career in the position of point guard.
At a home league game against Kings Christian, Villines scored her 42nd three pointer, passing Katelyn White, ’09, and Ashley Zamarripa, ’19, with 41. In her last game of the season against Wonderful College Preparatory Academy, Villines finished her season with 44 three pointers.
Villines explains the feeling she had when she found out she broke the record and how her teammates congratulated her.
“I was really excited knowing that I broke the record because that was one of my goals for the season”, Villines said. “My team was really happy for me and joined me in celebrating this personal achievement.”
Make sure to congratulate Villines on her achievement!
