Editor-in-chief Addison Schultz continues to strive for excellence in her third year apart of The Feather Online.
Schultz is not only apart of The Feather, but also participates in Sister to Sister, CSF (California Scholarship Federation), volleyball and owns her own calligraphy and art business.
Schultz originally joined The Feather because of her sister Kamryn. But once she noticed her improved writing abilities and community impact, she decided to continue with it.
Schultz shares her thoughts on running a business at such a young age.
“Running a business at such a young age is challenging,” Schultz said. “It’s just more deadlines to add to the list. But, painting and working with people to create custom work is really my passion and it acts as a motivator amidst the business of schoolwork. I love that people are blessed by my work and I hope that I can continue to spread the gospel through art.”
Not only does Schultz own her own business, but she teaches art classes weekly to a group of girls and babysits as often as possible.
Fun Facts:
- Schultz’s favorite candy is gummy bears
- Her favorite color is pink
- Schultz’s hobby is to watercolor paint
- Her favorite sport is volleyball
