As high school students began to prepare for their future, the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) plays a vital role in determining admission and readiness for college, April 17.

The test is administrated by College Board. Through the website, registration for the SAT, access to practice tests and scores are all available.

Each year over 2 million high school students take the test. This year to insure students are safe from the vast spread of COVID-19, May, June and July tests have been cancelled until further notice. 

With the concerns that schools could possibly not reopen in the fall, College Board has prepared a digital, similar version of the SAT that would cover what students are developing and learning in school.

According to College Board, students who don’t have SAT scores will have early access to registration for the August, September, and October admissions.
