Second-year journalist Madeleine Durham, ‘26, continues her writing journey for Feather Online. Durham values honesty and passion in those around her and strives to embody these values. She can be found in a library or coffee shop and enjoys writing, reading, and watching classic movies. Durham aspires to achieve a Master's degree in Criminal Justice, eventually working in Law Enforcement while writing on the side.

Two snakes were present at the Old Town farmers market, and the owner of them used to have a two-headed corn snake.

Jewelry made of numerous different gems and stones put on sale.

Visitors could buy bread and olive oil instead or with other fresh foods.

Plenty of fresh vegetables are put on sale for visitors to purchase at the farmers market.

A florist selling her beautiful bouquets came to the farmers market.

Not only fresh fruits and vegetables were sold but sweets like candy and brittle were sold.

Children were welcome to ride miniature horses or ponies at the market.

A variety of hats were on the stands, like cowboy hats and sun hats.

Plenty of accessories were put on display such as earrings, necklaces, and rings.

Hundreds of people come to enjoy the atmosphere and goods of the farmers market in Old Town Clovis.

John Pemberton used to be in his family band, "Southern Sound" which played and toured together.

Fresh fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, and more are sold at the Old Town Clovis Farmers Market.

Local honey vendors display their variety of regular and infused honey such as cinnamon and fruit infused honey.

John Pemberton will play at the Old Town Farmers Market again, Oct 11.

Large quantities of food were sold and were very different, ranging from fresh produce to sourdough bread.

The Taira Ume Grove was developed in 2001-2002, with a streamed, pond, two bridges, a tembo dai, pathways, and a waterfall.

The park hosts a series of races and meets from elementary school to NCAA.

Woodward Parks contains a famous 5K trail that hosts the Central Section Cross Country Championship and the California State Cross Country meets.

Woodward park has both dog friendly trails, but also a large enclosed dog park.

In Japan, Koi are a symbol of good fortune, luck, prosperity, and perseverance through adversity.

Woodward Park has a total of 4 trails that span 2.8 miles across the park.

In Japanese, Haru is the word for Spring; and the season is spiritually and culturally important in Japan.

Spring of 1981, the serene garden was open to the public.

Azaleas, irises, camellias, crabapples grow in the Friendship Garden along with flowering plum and cherry trees.

The Shinzen Friendship Garden is home to some exotic animals such as peacocks.

Along with a view of the lake and the Koi fish pond, the garden contains many waterfalls.
