Get to know your 2019 junior homecoming candidates!

Congratulations to this year’s Junior homecoming princess nominees, Natalie Arndt, Samantha Portale, and Morgan Parker. Nominated by their class, The Feather would like to help you get to know them through a series of uniques questions.

The big homecoming vote will take place Thursday morning, Oct. 3, after the Royal Battle. The winners will be announced during halftime at the 35th annual Fresno Christian homecoming game against Riverdale Christian, Oct. 5. Gates open at 6 p.m., and princess candidates will be introduced on the field at 6:30 p.m.

Introducing, Natalie Arndt

Arndt has attended Fresno Christian for four years. Three words to describe her are creative, organized, and friendly. Arndt’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” In five years she hopes to be in college and graduating. 

What is your favorite board game?

Clue 

If you could eat only one fast food restaurant for life…where?

Chipotle

If you were stranded on an island which one Disney Character would you hope to have with you? Why?

Moana, because she has water magic

Favorite FC memory?

Playing volleyball

Introducing, Samantha Portale

Portale has attended Fresno Christian for three years. Her favorite memory at FC is playing tennis with her friends. Portale’s favorite Bible verse is James 1:2-4,”Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” 

What is your favorite board game?

Monopoly 

What is the most important quality in a mate?

Honesty

Go skydiving 

Three words to describe you?

Outgoing, caring, and sassy

Introducing, Morgan Parker

Parker is a lifer at Fresno Christian and has attended FC since kindergarten. Three words that describe her are positive, funny, and stubborn. In five years Parker hope to be in college  and on the school’s cheer team. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:5, “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

What is your favorite board game?

Candyland 

If you could eat only one fast food restaurant for life…where?

Taco Bell 

Name of your childhood stuffed animal or blanket?

Stuffed turtle, named Bluey
