Beginning in 1997, “FC Underground” became a video series to inform students on upcoming events and announcements, Feb. 7.
Throughout the years, different students host “FC Underground” with a written script made by the video journalists. Along with the script, video journalists record the video and edit while in their class period. This years video journalist team consists of four members, Wesley Hinton, ’20, Ethan Hamm, ’20, Austin Petersen, ’21, and editor Braden Bell, ’20.
Hamm explains the difference from filming “FC Underground” to hosting it.
“Hosting FC Underground is more fun to me than filming it,” Hamm said. “You get to be more creative but having been behind the camera before makes hosting easier. My favorite thing about FC Underground is coming up with funny ideas that make the students laugh.”
Coming into the new semester, the video team decided to mix things up a bit. For the past two weeks, video journalists Wesley Hinton and Ethan Hamm have hosted FC underground instead of filming it.
The video below is the first “FC Underground” Hinton and Hamm hosted together.
