Varsity girls volleyball seniors are recognized before their game against Sierra, Oct. 17. Fresno Christian defeats Sierra, 3-1.
This year there are seven senior players on the team. Emily Hales, Grace LaCroix, Melanie Kampfe, Savannah Cisneros, Faith DeGroot, Avery Ryan and Jenna Obwald are congratulated alongside their family, teammates and coaches.
Cisneros has been playing volleyball since 5th grade and has been on varsity for three years in high school.
Cisneros shares her most memorable game throughout the years.
“My most memorable game would be when we were down in the championship against Mammoth and we came back and won.”
11-2 in their league and 38-11 overall, the Lady Eagles are led by head coach, Steve Guglielmana, who has coached for three years at Fresno Christian.
