The later months of the year is a time when students and adults alike explore the selections of coffee shops around town. Fresno expresses its fair share of coffee shops such as Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and faith-based ones like Kuppa Joy and the Frappe House.
The Frappe House is home to those who attend CrossCity Church and those who are just looking for a place to sit and enjoy. As a non-profit shop, the Frappe House sponsors different organizations around Fresno. The organization that is sponsored is YoungLives, which aids teen pregnancies and teen mothers.
As a coffee shop, the Frappe House sells a variety of coffee as well as teas and food. All of its tasty products are made right on the campus of Crosscity. In addition to homemade treats, the workers of the shop are almost all volunteers.
A regular customer and kitchen volunteer, Jodi Bourg, shares her favorite things about Sunday mornings at the Frappe House. Bourg said, “All the friends and family I get to be with and enjoy praising the Lord”. So, if you are in the mood for a coffee break, visit Crosscity’s Frappe House.
